I have a 2004 Ford Explorer and I keep adding coolant but it keeps disappearing. There is nothing leaking from underneath the vehicle. There is a pan area under the engine, kind of in the middle, where there is a lot of the coolant, but I don't know how it got there. The engine keeps getting hot and I keep adding coolant, but still have no idea where it's going.
I had that problem on my '95 escort. Go to the auto store and pick up some automotive dye. I got it for about $6, read the directions and put it in. You'll need a black light or an flourescent like it. Shine the light near or around the suspected area and BINGO! You've found the leak. Atleast thats what worked for me. Good Luck
