1995 F150 fuel problem

My F150 codes indicate fuel system at rich adaptive limit at part throttle, system lean bank 1. What does this indicate? I am at a loss to know what to do next. Local Ford dealer is not an option. The truck runs rough at idle, runs well at speed. Strong smell of fuel at idle. Has anyone had similar issues? Ideas? Thanks.
