Ok I am at my wits end. Todays work included.
Checked for spark-yes
checked for fuel- yes,
there is no coolent in the cylenders now so compression should be good.
Since I can't get it to start I can't check the timing. So to try I actually slowly rotated the distributor in order to ajust the timing to almost every setting. No luck
Checked the wires from the coil to the sparkplugs they are all correct.

The engine turns over just no ignition. What is my next smart move... Oh yeah, and I am out of money for this project. CRAP! My hail marry was resurfacing the head. That fixed it but what now?

Have the engine running and spray it slowly all around the intake and all vacuum hoses, if the engine accelerates it will show where the leak is. Always have a fire extinguisher or garden hose handy when doing this.
