misfire cylinder 1

just bought the car. 2000 zx2 s/r service light is on, car was running fine and then started sputtering. went to advance and they said misfire in cylinder # 1 . previous owner recently changed plugs, wires, coil, fuel and air filter. (think she knew something was wrong). im going to try replacing fuel injector for cyl 1. any ideas or advice on testing fuel or injectors? or what else i should look for?
