3.0 DOHC engine leaks oil. The pan gets covered but I cannot tell from where. Doesnt appear to be from filter. Is this engine prone to front seal leak or pan gasket leak?
I have degreased the areas and will attempt to locate leak in a day or so of driving.
I'd say your on the correct path. I had to do the same on my F250. You should be able to see the leak after cleaned and cooled down. How many miles? Keep us updated.
