Default 2003 Ford Explorer-ac Compressor And Clutch

Live in Texas and it's really hot here. The temp outside is average 90-95 degrees. I have a 9 month old daughter and I cannot take bring her in my suv until I get this fixed. Just recently had to replace the belt and it broke again because of the ac compressor. I can't afford to go to auto shops, you know how much that would cost plus labor. I can buy the parts and fix myself however I need to know:

1. Need to know how much to vacuum to draw on the system
2. How do I know if I can replace just the clutch and not compressor
3. How many pounds of freon are needed

if it is braking the belt, then the compressor is not turning, it is bad. a bad clutch will not brake the belt. as far a vacume , the system should be pulled to 30lbs. and the amount of charge needed should be indicated on a decal on the core support. it will be listed as r134a and may be in kg. may be something like .96 kg-1.19kg
