Default 1984 Ranger and tremclad

Hi everybody i've been away for a long time and im sure all of you missed me lol. Anyway im planning on painting my ranger its starting to look a bit shotty and i want it to last a long time. So would tremclad be a good idea? I was planning a matte black or maybe even use the flat black as a primer then go with a gloss any suggestions would be awesome.

There are several people who have used tremclad with good results. (For anybody wondering, tremclad is the same thing as rustolem)

I'm guessing, if you take your time it would look pretty good! If you decide to do it, be sure to post up the results!
