| I think it just rolls on, I've heard it works very well. Actually, I've never heard any cons for it.

| I used it on a Dodge Dakota I once owned.
Worked great, I think 2 cans would of been better. You'll kill some brian cells, it's has some strong chemicals, so do it outside.
It was a farmer friend that told me about it and he used it in his truck, He said about every 3 years he put on a new coat on the floor of the bed because he was always hauling stuff. |

| Spray-on bed liner I shot the bed of my '74 long bed last fall with ?? liner. Used the college body shop gun and their expertise and it went ideally. It is probably the same as Herculiner but I can't remember the name. Since then I've hauled gravel, sand, flat rocks and tree limbs on it. This spring I freshened up the bottom with a pint can I got through a mail order parts house (I don't know if I can give the name here). I just used a 4 inch roller and plastic tray. Took 40 minutes and looks like new again. No more sand, gravel and rocks so it should look fine for a long time. Unfortunately I learned the hard way what happens with those stupid *&% bed liners after 10 years. Had to repair the bed with fiber glass roving and matting before we covered it. No problems so far. |

| Dupli color has one too, I have used both. They work well as long as you prep right. They say to scuff the areas and clean ..... well I found the best thing you can do is scuff it with 80 grit or 60 grit and then clean everything as they say. I usually put an 1/8 inch or 3.175mm thick on the sides and the bed and tail gate get a 1/4 inch or 6.35mm thick. It takes a lot like 2 to three gal.'s for a full size long box truck. But you can return any full cans you don't use, just nice to have it there and ready if you need it.
Dupli color has a spray gun that you can buy and it sprays right from the gal. cans, works good I have one. They also have it in small spray cans too. |
