Howdy folks,I'm new on here, and I drive a 2003 p-71 everyday.I was wondering if anyone could tell me what are the best performance mods to start with to get more power out of this car?I'm thinking the best bang for the buck would be going with 4.10 gears in the diff. Also, would I be able to change my ugly, negative offset factory rims with a set of stock, older c.v rims that would look a little better,or would my wheels rub the fenders? Can anyone reccomend the best shiftkit for my stock aode trans? Thanks for your help!

It gets really anoying when you are playing one of the arcade games on this sight. I didn't start to get really anoyed with it untill I scored over 45,000 on space invaders and it wouldn't submit my score. any ideas on how to get it to stop doing that or at least how to get around it.

I everyone, just wanted to say that I am new here to this Forum. I am in the USMC Infantry for the past 14 years now. I am currently stationed at Quantico and will be here for the next 3 years. I have a couple of cars. My baby is my 84 Monte Carlo SC pro street car. I love this car to death and all G-Body cars. I also own an 07 Chevy Tahoe used to pull race car and boat. I have my daily beater a black 91 Ford Probe GL, and also have a 2000 Triton TR21 bass boat my second fav hobby. As you can see I am big into bass fishing and when not doing that I am racing as much as possible. I hope to get to know you all and see ya around the board.

Hi guys, Im new here and Im looking at a 1971 ford ranchero J code. I dont know much about the ranchero so I came to yall for some info/perspective. It has a 429 cobra jet with a little under 30k miles on the truck (possibly 130k). The owner has a marti report. Here is some of the info the guy gave me.

Is this a rare vehicle?

Miles – 29,428
VIN – 1A48J268726
Body – 66C (Ranchero GT)
Color – 3 (Bright Red Paint, Ford #3560-A)
Trim – QA (Black Knitted Vinyl Bucket Seats)
Axle – R (3.25 Traction-Loc Axle Ratio)
Transmission – U (C-6 Select Shift Cruise –O-Matic)

The car looks very clean and the engine and engine bay are dang near spotless. I have always loved rancheros since I saw the one don johnson drove. What do yall think from the info I have provided.?

Hello all. Just got my new truck a few weeks ago and I am very pleased. Just found these forums after an hour of browsing for a bed cover for my truck.

I have a 2010 Ford Ranger 4x4 Sport - 4 door extended cab painted the metallic blue color. I love this truck. This truck represent alot of first for me. First brand new vehicle I have owned. First 4x4 Vehicle I have owned. First vehicle I have considered making after market alterations to. First vehicle that I won't be "upside down" on as soon as I drove it off the lot. Essentially the very first vehicle that I have been completely satisfied with and have no buyer's remorse. (I have buyer's remorse after buying a sandwich from McDonald's sometimes).

Thanks for listening to me rave on.

I am new to this forum. I am 45 years old & love all types of old cars. It makes me sick to see them in junk yards & being crushed when they could be used to restore other cars. Today I found a 4 door 1965 Galaxie 500 with a 352 4V engine in it. It has the transmission too, & is almost a complete car.

I found it in a junkyard near me. I am an unemployed mechanic right now, so I cannot afford to buy parts off of it, but I would be willing to get parts for someone if they want them. If you could use any parts from this car, please contact me & I will help you out.

Thanks! Dave :rolleyes5:
