Hello everyone new member and proud ford owner for over 7 years now...but my question actually concerns a friends vehicle. I have been trying to find the answer myself for about 3 hours and I just happened upon the forum. So, I am hoping someone may have an answer or maybe a direction to turn. My friend just purchased an e250 ford econoline 6cyl 5.8 1993 ...it needs some work but he likes the challenge and when back in shape the van will be a great help to him. The windshield will need to be replaced. I am not looking for prices but I am looking for years and makes of other vehicles that have windshields that will work in the econoline of 93. Hopefully, that made some sense. Thanks in advance for all help!

I have a 2001 Ranger and the rear tailgate handle broke. Is it hard to replace? It has a plastic bed liner and it has torex screws holding it in place. Do I have to remove the bed liner and then get to the handle through some sort of access panel? Then the automatic door locks only lock but do not unlock the front passenger and driver doors. I hope someone has some sort of idea on that one. Thanks so much for any information. This my friends truck and I was useing it and of coarse the handle breaks when I am useing the truck to haul some brush away. I have posted before with help form you guys and got some good advise. Need some now. Mech1054

I have an 81 LTD that I need some help with. It has a little body damage and I have an estimate to have that done and a new paint job. My problem is that the window channel in the drivers door is brittle and falling apart. I don't dare to use the window for now. The body shop that gave me the estimate said that they don't do the window channels.

I called one of the national chain auto window service places and they said I'd have to go to the Ford dealer. If they do it I don't want be raped. I found that I can get the new channel from JC Whitney. How hard would it to do myself.

Has anyone on here done this, and how hard would it be. I would like to do all four windows, but need the drivers done now.

Thanks

I have a 2003 Crown Vic LX Sport with rust on the inside bottom of the left rear door. Sometimes there has been water in the rubber liner around the bottom of the door after a heavy rain; I'm sure that this is the cause. Is there anyone who can tell me: A) Is this common? B) Is there a solution for keeping the water from sitting anywhere near the bottom of the door? and C) Are there any suggestions as to how to address the rust that is currently on the inside of the door?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, My daughter purchased a 1974 Ranchero GT fix'er upper. She wants to try her hand at fixing a dent on driver side front fender, even though I already bought one from a junk yard. She has removed all bolts but says something is holding the fender at the headlights . Are there any more bolts she needs to remove? Any and all advice are appreciated. Rancherochivo
