I have driven in my 99 mustang for years now without using the keyless entry remote because I simply don't have one. Today of all days I get in my car and the alarm goes off when i put it into ignition it and I dont hear so much as a turn over or anything. The car is completly locked down and I dont know if there is any way of reseting it to work with just my key again or not. Do i really have to pay Ford for a remote that i didn't need for years?

I drive a 2005 Ford Expedition. It has the original radio that came with the car. A couple days ago the radio started acting weird. I was trying to turn the volume down using the controls on the steering wheel. It did a search instead. I hit a couple buttons and it finally started acting right. After that the radio changes volume on its' own. I turn it up and it turns it down after a few minutes. It will keep turning the volume down until I it is all the way down.

I am guessing I have a short somewhere but I thought I would ask around and see if anyone else was having problems.

My wife and I just purchased a brand new 2010 escape limited 2 weeks ago and have since noticed that when the audio system is on the AM/FM mode, the sound quality changes. It will go from sounding normal, to sounding like the bass is being turned up with no treble, and then all treble and no bass, back to normal. We have had it into the dealership and they said "they didn't notice anything" but only drove it a few minutes down the street. They now have it again, but are fighting us that there is an issue. This only happens with the AM/FM setting. Using satellite, CD, or MP3 through SYNC sounds perfectly fine, so it doesn't appear to be the speakers. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? I have checked the antenna to make sure that it tight, but the sound isn't going out fuzzy like a loose antenna would. the signal strength stays strong, the sound quality just gets crappy. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

I know their isn't a plug and play solution and I'm ok with that. I have located the RCU and know that I need to figure out a way to take the cd changer DIN connector and connect it to the RCU. What kind of wiring needs to be done to make this happen?
