I need to check the relays at the fuse boxs, but do not know which one to check. I checked the service manual and owners manual for location they are no help.

Their are 5 relays in the drive side fuse panel, from top to bottom, left side.
2 small relays followed by 3 big relays all square.

Thank you for your time.

The Van has front and rear climate controls and air conditioning though the refrigerant ran out long ago. It still blows normal air if i switch it to the vents, but when i switch it too the heat it barely blows and never gets hot. Any help would be...... helpful

A couple of weeks ago I went to change the heat in my car with the push button and no heat came out at all...something obviously broke. I tried changing the fuse for the heater and nothing happened. I think it might be the blower motor and I read that it is behind the glove box...but how do I get there and change it? Is it an easy fix or should a mechanic do it? Hopefully that is the actual problem at all.

I have a question for you fellow FORD owners. I spent 8 hours replacing my blend door actuator yesterday and still have a problem. The "KNOCKING" stopped and I DO have heat in the front, but now when I turn the temp control dial from hot to cold, and turn on the AC, I get nothing but HOT. Did the auto parts place sell me the wrong one, or did I do something wrong when putting the new one in?

My 2000 Windstar SEL has a coolant leak somewhere that I haven't been able to determine. When the coolant is topped up, I get heat and an awful coolant smell, and sometimes steam comes out the vents. The windshield fogs up and won't clear, I'm guessing because the air blowing on it is moist? Please tell me I can fix this myself with duct tape and bubble gum!

Hey guys lately I have had a funny smell almost like antifreeze coming in from the vents. The cars windshield is almost always foggy when I get in it but if I get on the highway the fog goes away but when I get off the highway and I do city driving it starts to fog up again with the blower on full blast. My A/C clutch relay is disconnected due to a bad condenser would the AC being disconnected have anything to do with it?

This started happening maybe a month or two after I did a cooling system flush replaced the water pump and thermostat. I checked the antifreeze level and its full I haven't touched it and it seems to be fine. Car never over heats and runs fine. Could this possibly be my heater core?

This has never happen before. But on my 89 F-150, when I turn on the heater, it doesn't work. But when I turn on the heat for the floor and defrost, it works. Does anybody might know what the problem might be?

For the past 10 years, I've had people to tell me that Ford heaters and AC always breaks down. My dad used to have a 88 Ford Taurus and the AC went out twice. My brother-in-law used to have a 93 Ford Aerostar and the AC went out three times.
