Ford Aerostar Originally conceived as an answer to the first Chrysler minivans, the Aerostar is an old school rear-drive van that's at its best when it's harnessed for hard work. It can haul--and tow--heavier loads than the front-drive crowd, and gets the job done with a fair degree of comfort and style.

Default 1994 Aerostar Questions

My '94 Aerostar has about 135,000 miles. I have 3 quesitons
1. My Check Oil light comes on after about 350 highway miles. I add oil and light goes off. No leaking or other signs. What does this mean
2. My dashboard lights do not work. It is not the fuse. Once in a while I can rotate/chiggle the light swith and it comes on. Suggestions
3. At 135K miles does it still have a usefull life to it. Seems fine but am intetested in feedback.

Thanks
Ed

I had a 95 aerostar with 140K. I drove it for 20K miles with the engine lite on. It overheaded with me not knowing it and ended up with blown head gasket ... its possible if I had paid attention to the engine lite on which came on after driving 60 miles, that I could saved that car. I sold it for $800 that could do his own repairs
