Rear ABS light blinks a repeating pattern

95 Aerostar 117,000 miles - starts fine, runs fine, stops fine - brakes fine. While driving the Rear ABS light will do one of 3 things:
1) Light comes on & stays on solid until the van is stopped & the key is turned off.
2) Light starts blinking - 10 quick flashes with the 11th "on" for a little over 1 second, then a 2 to 3 second pause, and the pattern repeats until the van is stopped & the key is turned off.
3) Light starts blinking - 15 quick flashes with the 16th "on" for a little over 1 second, then a 2 to 3 second pause, and the pattern repeats until the van is stopped & the key is turned off.

Is it counting down to a breakdown?

Take it down to someone with code rearer and check the code on the ABS. ON my 90 and 91 Aero's the plug on the side of the MC, the top front wire conector is broke and would cause a ABS light. I ran a small screw thru the plug into the MC to reconect the link, this did stop my ABS light from coming on on both vans.
