Default tapping noise when shutting off
I have a 95 aero star. i made a short trip about 3km. when i turned it off i heard a tapping noise comming from the front part of the van. it is not run on. it goes tap tap tap tap for about 3 sec. then goes away. this happened about 3 times. the van has 225,000 km. also on the highway when it shifts into the last gear sometime it shifts hard going up shift.

I've gotten that too with many cars, and they all lasted for a long time. I don't think its a major issue, more like its just parts contracting due to the heat change.
