Default whinning noise
whinning noise in engine or tranny in my 93 Aerostar cargo van 3.0
It's very loud as the engine revs up tranny shift ok motor runs ok could it be power steering or what

Hard to say without hearing it, power steering is one of the leaders in noise. Have you checked the fluid level in the power steering pump?

i have the slight power steering noise. i've had a couple of mechanics look at it & they assured me that it's fine. it sure bugs the hell out of me though. how can it be removed?
