Ford AerostarOriginally conceived as an answer to the first Chrysler minivans, the Aerostar is an old school rear-drive van that's at its best when it's harnessed for hard work. It can haul--and tow--heavier loads than the front-drive crowd, and gets the job done with a fair degree of comfort and style.
there is a opening in the cab, below the dash. It has 3 clips, I think its 2 on the passenger side and one on the drivers side. On mine I have to put the trans shifter into drive to get the doghouse cover off.

remove the doghouse.and the cap and rotor are right there and yes the plugs are some thing else to remove the passenger side rear plug took as long of a time as the other five did combined. had to remove the passenger side front tire to get to those as with removing the alternator.
Along with removing the cup holder, pulling the shifter down away from the dash, it is also helpful to remove the electrical box that is mounted below the ashtray. Just four nuts need to be removed and it can either hang from the wires, or one plug removes it.
now unclip the snaps and remove the doghouse.
