Ford Bronco Until the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.

Default 95 ford Bronco e4od tranny

i need some help,my truck was in a accident and the tranny worked fine before the accident. got my truck back from ford body shop and the tranny was acting crazy ,they said i had to be driving the truck this way.it was like the tranny was slipping and banging into gear when it was shifting, they told me since the battery was disconected for a long period of time the computer had to re-learn itself .that was not the case .i had the tranny rebuilt ,after being rebuilt it still was the same way shifting hard banging into gear.then all problems went away on its own.shifting good no banging, one year later the problem is back.and the fault is torque converter clutch slippage, the problem would come and go, i replace this tranny with a 5-month old rebuilt tranny out of a 96 bronco guess what same problem.
and we replace the ecc-(ecm) computer no change. i need help
1995 full size bronco 302-5.0 e4od 4x4
thanks
torque converter slippage was the fault code on the original tranny, yes the converter was change. and the 5month old tranny came from a bronco that caught fire. i just think its strange that 2 trannys from two different bronco are doing the same thing, i think i dont have a tranny problem but i dont know where to look . 2 trannys , 2 computers, is there other modules relays to look for that has some control of the tranny and how its shifts. my tranny mechanic never seen this before. thanks please help
