Ford Bronco Until the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.

I got the following translation from babel fish:

I look for a Ford Bronco 2. It can also scrap iron be.

German grammar is interesting with the verb at the end.

The reply roughly is:
Good day, where are you looking for a BroncoII? In Europe? We don't have many of these trucks around here. They are hard to find here (or something to that effect.) Please excuse me, my German is not very good, I speak Spanish and bit of Italian, my lady is from Romania.

Or something like that. (I took two years of German in high school, a gazillion years ago.)

sorry guys, couldn't resist. Tim C was pretty close in translation. My german is rusty but what I said is "Good day,why are you looking for a Bronco 2?Do you live in Europe? We don't like these trucks, because they aren't very strong and are very ugly also. Excuse me please, because my German is not very good because I also speak Spanish and some Romanian also, because my wife is from Romania." Congrats, Tim, you pretty much had it.P.S.-sorry Bronco 2 fans, I shouldn't have said "we" don't like Broncoo Twos, maybe it's just me...In the future I'll only post in English-but I'm always willing to translate...

Thanks.

You know it's really funny, but there are many of us who really love the old Bronco II. It's a ton of fun to drive and nearly indestructible. If you do break something, it's easy to find replacement parts or parts to build it into a great trail rig. You can put in a 4.0L or even a 5.0L engine, change the running gear and suspension, etc. Some people buy a beautiful rig that they're afraid to take off-road. No problem with an old Bronco II; bang it up on a trail, it's not a big loss. Rebuild it better and enjoy.
