Ford BroncoUntil the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.
Classic Roadsters II, the company I work for, is going to start making a tonneau style and possibly a full size soft top for the Bronco. We have our own upholstery shop that has been in business for about 28 years and have produced soft tops for our cars as well as full interiors so experience is top of the line here. I am just trying to find out how much interest there would be in these. We are going to make them out of Haartz nylon material, this is a very high quality material, and it would come with either a clear or tinted window. The top will mount using your existing hard top holes, so you will not have to drill any holes, the tailgate section will be secured with an industrial strength velcro, so no drilling will be necessary there either. The tonneau style top will cost $375.00, and the full soft top will be $500.00
Please give me some feedback I would really like some opinions from some true Bronco lovers like myself.
GL!
many Bronco owners I know are looking for soft tops other than the usual STC (and ex Kayline).
Do you have a web site?
The use of existing top holes is great! The other brand mtg. is a pia to do when converting back for the winter.

Yes that is our website, there is currently no info on the Broncos out there yet, but you can still take a look and see that we are a reputable company. We would definitely appreciate any help we can get spreading the word, so feel free to post info on other sites that you know about. I am currently posting on this site and on fullsizebronco.com.
Thanks, Bill
update; Bill wrote to me that "...should be ready to go in about a week or so..." dated 24 MAY 06;
"...Our full top will still be a while, we are only going to be ready with the tonneau, but we will be able to beat STC on price and quality..."
