Ford BroncoUntil the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.
Disco Bronco... lol... for some reason the vision of black platform shoes flashed in my mind. What's up with that?
Certainly goes with the paint job.
Yeah... I saw the crack. I mentioned take a lot of pictures, because once the vacuum lines get screwed up, its hard to get help on where they go back.

got some junk yard heads, they were pretty nasty and rusty, I had the local machine shop tank and magg them, he even knurled a couple of the guides, all for $25
the valve covers are off an older motor, had em sandblasted and the gf and I painted them
Whoever owned this Bronco before me, well I have some pity for them.
well, the junkyard heads, the valves look terrible, and I don't wanna use them. I took apart the heads that came off the bronco, and i noticed actually how clean the springs, retainers and valves were, then I noticed the machining marks at the bottom of the guides, and then I saw that brass inserts were pressin the guides. wow... this guy must have had the heads redone as well, its too bad though, the crack runs through the bowls, and I don't think that these heads can be pinned and repaired.
I got one chamber together, should get the head finished in the next day or too.
very nice project, i hope to get a mud truck next summer :-)

I was told that ya dont need all those lines. If ya just have one from the distributor to the carb and plug the rest then it'll just good. is that true?

You'll need vacuum for power brakes and the heating and air conditioning controls in the cabin.
I'll be stripping down on alot of the vacuum lines under the hood, and I'll show you which ones i keep.
