Ford BroncoUntil the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.
My new toy, tommorow I'm changing head gaskets and putting dynomax headers on, I'll have pics put up for you guys, maybe even some audio of it with the open headers if its running...
Looks like a good start, I like the paint, VERY 80's. My 80 Bronco is a 2 tone, or I should say was, brown and white.

What are your plans for her? A daily driver? Mudd, or trails?
Whatever... they're great when you take the top off.
Nice toy.

It'll be a mud toy, overall plans include an edelbrock intake, holley carb, dynomax headers and exhaust, 3" body lift, 33" tires, spool for 9", and 4.56 gears.
Well, I made it pretty far on the headswap and then I hit a wall. It looked like the head gaskets were replaced once before. Both heads have cracks between the intake and exhaust valves Then my uncle said I can have the heads off the old 351m from his truck, but they need machine work. My dad and I took them off, and we can't find any cracks, so we may settle for these heads.
I have pics with the heads off, just haven't got them uploaded yet.
Take lots of pictures, and be sure to keep track of your vacuum lines... which goes where.

the other heads i got, I can't see a crack in them, but they need redone, the guides are terrible, and the valves are worn away on the stem. Maybe I'll get em redone and back on in a couple weeks, in the meantime I'll be painting the intake and valve covers ford blue
