Ford BroncoUntil the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.

Reason: wrong year
Did you pull the spout connector when you timed it?

If you have intermittant running problems or a flat spot/buck/dying/cutting out while accelerating.
Do your self a favor and try some dedicated gas
line dryer, Double or even triple dose it, It's cheaper
then throwing parts at a problem that doesn't throw
codes!!
Did the timing advance when you plugged it back in? has it sat for an extended peiod of time?

what did you set it at and what did it jump up to? Do the tfi module test if you have a multimeter.

Is this a rhetorical question?
IF it moves in 4wd, but not in 2wd, you blew your rear. Hence.. the no ass statement.
When My son blew the rear in his we had a used one delivered to our driveway for $500 and we swapped it out one Saturday. Since they can come in open and trac loc versions, I would want to get one with track loc.

i should have chosen my words a little better. i'm sorry. by no ass i mean lack of power. it moves when put it gear just seems to stuggle. hell it won't spin the tires over on wet grass in 2wd..lol. in 4wd i can get thru the mud.i have 2 other broncos <90-302 and another 89-351> this one is going to be my mud truck it has 38's on it with a 3in body lift and a 9in suspension lift installed.she just hesistates <mispelled i know> and lack of power /no ass in 2wd when i put her in gear she does move and i know it's not the rear end.any suggestions and help would be nice. i'll try to answer any questions to the best of my florida redneck ability. the timing is set at 10 dgrs btc. that is what the sticker <on the air box> says to have it set at. thank -you scott
that still doesn't make sense, unless you put it in 4 low. If that's the case, then you have a serious lack of power.
I'd put a vacuum guage on it and see what info I get.
If it happened rather suddenly, I'd suspect that it jumped a tooth for valve timing or at least I would want to rule that out.
A Compression test is in order.

Check your gear ratio, block the tires and jack it up so you can spin the tire, Put the xcase in neutral and mark the tire, get to where you can see the pinion and turn the tire
one rotation of the tire and three and half spins of the pinion and you got 3.50 four and a couple degrees more and it is 4.10 Of course it isn't exact but will give you an idea of what it is running. IF it has stock 3.55 and 38" it won't have much power at all unless you are in 4lo!
