Ford Bronco Until the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.

To check your oil. turn the engine off. Get a paper towel or a pair of fingers, open the hood and pull the oil dip stick. Clean the oil off, insert the dip stick fully, pull it out and read it. If it is below the (you better add oil or the engine is going to sieze and you will have to junk this vehicle) mark, you better add oil.

Sorry, I got a little nuts, just rying to add a little humor, but a friend of mine's son thought he should check the oil with the engine running. He eventually siezed the engine and they junked the car. SO be sure to turn the engine off.

I don't know if it will cause the clicking noise, but the level shouldn't be higher than the marks on the dipstick. Either someone has added too much oil, or you need to check your antifreeze level, becuz if the antifreeze is low/empty you have a gasket leak, which allows the antifreeze to leak into the crankcase/cylinders, and that can cause BIG problems.
GOOD LUCK

Taz is right, coolent in the oil could cause the clicking.

I believe that we are both thinking that the clicking sound you are referring to is typically called a valve tap. If your oil starts looking creamy, that's a sure sign of water/coolent in the oil.

Get a long screwdriver/dowel and put it up to ear and move it around and try to pinpoint the source of the clicking.(watch your fingers, hair loose clothing around a running engine) The injectors make a clicking noise and you may have never noticed it before. Let us know what you find with the el cheapo stethoscope!

If you have intermittant running problems or a flat spot/buck/dying/cutting out while accelerating.
Do your self a favor and try some dedicated gas
line dryer, Double or even triple dose it, It's cheaper
then throwing parts at a problem that doesn't throw
codes!!
