Truck starts shaking when RPM's are under 1700. Ideas?
Ford BroncoUntil the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.
Truck starts shaking when RPM's are under 1700. Ideas?
After not driving my Bronco for few days the truck started shaking pretty violently when on the highway and with the rpm's about 1700. If I switch the overdrive off the shaking dissapates as the rpm's go up. I changed out the ATF but this didn't help. I'm thinking the next items to check are the spark plugs, and fuel filter. Any ideas out there?
