Ford BroncoUntil the mid '90s, the Ford Bronco was famous for being a rough-and-tumble off-road vehicle that had been tackling trails and fording streams since the 1960s. It was also one of the first sport-utility vehicles: a versatile truck then described by Ford as being able to serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, snowplow or farm and civil defense vehicle.
Hello,
Brand new guy here, could use some help..
steady stream of smoke coming up from the back of the engine can't tell if it's the vcg or rms, after driving for a while and put in park small buddle of oil is made about the size of a softball directly in the middle of the truck, if this is the rms can this be fixed without major work?????(sealer???)
If it's the rear main....it's not easy. Altho...it depends on if you have a one piece or 2 piece rear seal. I believe the newer motors use a one piece and the older ones use a 2 piece seal. The one piece seals require you to remove the flywheel/flexplate and the faceplate from the back of the motor. Then you can remove the oil pan and replace the seal.
