Default 1974 Ford Galaxie

Up for sale is a 1974 Ford Galaxie with somewhere between 89,000 and 90,000 miles. The car is in great running condition. It needs a tuneup which can be worked into the final price. This has been a family car. My grandfather bought it new and he passed in 1976 leaving it to my grandmother. She passed four years ago, but hadn't driven it since the 90's. It's basically sat on our family farm until I recently brought it up to my home in suburban Chicago.

Exterior is in very good condition. It could use either a good wax or paint job and probably a little chrome work. Inside is very solid. There is a single, easily repairable hole in the upholstery and that's it. Other than that, the radio works as do the interior and exterior lights. As far as I can tell there is no bad rust damage outside.

I'm open to offers as I can't find a single '74 for sale anywhere to compare it to. If I got somewhere between $2,000 and $3,000 for it, that would be great, unless someone can document a similar car selling for less.

I just have way too much going on to hold onto a car that someone else could be enjoying right now.

You can PM here or reach me at Bobby@stateandmadisonentertainment.com for pictures and more info.

Thanks!

You do not say whither its a 4 door or a 2 door. 4 doors are a dime a dozen, 2 doors are extremely rare and are very under rated as fine transportation. JB
