Galaxie For Sale
This Convertible, 1969 Galaxie 500 is a very unique, classic Hollywood cruiser. It was fully restored in 1998 and is in good shape save for a few issues which can easily be remedied. Some of these photos show what it looks like with a new paint job and what it can become with little effort. Ford manufactured only a small number of ragtops in 1969 and there are only a handful still on the road....even fewer in this kind of shape.
The paint has become oxidized so it needs a new paint job and there is some of transmission and minor engine work. So for a small investment, this beauty can be brought up to near mint or mint.
New or recent features include the interior, top motor and hydraulics, carpet, custom bra for top, Holley 750 4 BBL carb with vacuum secondaries; edelbroch performer RPM intake manifold, custom chrome headers, chrome wires and pipes; fully chrome "moon rim" wheels; hard-to-find tall white wall tires. In addition, we have an uninstalled weatherproofing set which was extremely hard to find and very expensive.
With a little love and attention, this 18' long beauty can be turning heads in the streets of L.A. for another summer of love.
