I finally bought a 95 Passat TDI wagon. So its time to hand off the 98 taurus wagon to some lucky sole. This car is in great shape and has many miles left on it.
98 Taurus Wagon GL. In excellent shape and ready for a new owner. I just put a lot of work into this thing, then went and bought a VW passat wagon. With the right seat configuration you can fit 8 people in this car. It gets about 21/17 MPG.
We purchased it about 4 years ago, and besides general maintenance we only had to replace a battery. Last year we put all new brakes on it.
Just 2 weeks ago the following was performed:
-Brand new 60k tires with warranty
-water pump
-idler pulley
-serpentine belt
-power steering pump w/ filter
-alternator
-coolant hoses/coolant flush
-transmission service (flush & filter)
-shocks & struts
-fuel filter
-air filter
-spark plugs and wires
This car runs and drives great. We have only used it lightly for around town driving, and the occasional trip to Tillamook. Title in hand. Receipts and shop manuals included.
