1957 Fairlane 500 convertible

1.

Owned since about 1975
2.

Original, except oil gauge added by prior owner
3.

312 cubic in V8 with 4 barrel carburetor
4.

Dual exhaust
5.

Power steering
6.

Power brakes
7.

Power windows
8.

Power top
9.

Original seat covers
10.

Town and country radio
11.

Speedometer reads about 51000 miles. Engine overhauled when speedometer was at about 41000 miles
12.

Mechanical condition: many components either replaced, or rebuilt over some 29 years of ownership. Some are:

1.

Engine overhaul
2.

Transmission overhaul
3.

Rebuilt steering gear
4.

Rebuilt power steering
5.

Rebuilt power brakes

Ball joints replaced

U joint replaced

Sir:
15,000. is somewhat less than what you usually see good '57 convertibles these days.The pickins were pretty good back in '75 so I'm thinking yours might be one of the good ones.It's still priced like a hardtop though.Does it need paint,bodywork?
