1996 Ford Contour SE, automatic transmission, power locks & power windows with 133,422 miles with a clean title and was regularly serviced. Just changed oil, transmission fluid, etc. The interior is also in good shape. It got me back and forth from Greensboro to Raleigh every other weekend without a problem.
The Bad:
The transmission went out on me so we bought a used transmission for it, but after it was put it in, we realized that the something was wrong with the used trans we bought
, so we are selling it. The outside has a dent over the right front fender. It just needs a wash, inspection sticker and someone to look at the trans to see what the problem is or if it needs to be replaced.
I keep getting e-mails by people who don't understand that there are some problems with the trans! If someone decides to buy it- it needs to be towed (it runs but you probably wouldn't want to drive it until the trans is looked at) to a shop or someone who knows about Contour transmissions so they can tell you what the problem is. Or it would be GREAT for parts, if you decide not bother with the trans problem. We have too many cars and we need this one gone.
