Default '68 Torino GT 390 fastback; great deal!

Tim here... I own some Ford muscle, and have owned many others over the years. I currently have an unmolested '68 Torino GT fastback with the factory 390 2v engine for sale. The car runs and drives great, 172K miles, all original under the hood except a newer battery, and tune-up parts. January '68 car that came from the factory with the 428 Police Interceptor/GT 14-bolt high-performance heads and dual exhaust. Heavy-duty C6, 3.00:1 locking 9" rear end, no issues. Runs strong, runs well. Front disc brakes, power brakes, power steering.

Solid body with very little rust... the only rust visible is a 2" bit at the rear window lower channel, and some heavy surface rust around the driver's tail light. Trunk floor, floorboards, rockers, fenders, quarters, hood, doors, etc. all look solid and dry. Plenty of little "parking lot" dings and dents; nothing major. All panels align well, and the doors open and close well. Old repaint in dark blue; original was Q-code bright blue metallic.

Decent two-tone deluxe factory interior; perfect dash, good door panels, decent upholstery, poor carpet. Usable as-is. Everything works, and it has the rear window blower/defrost.

Good tires on old period Keystone five-spoke mags. Trim is good to better all around; one bad wheel lip molding, one missing rear quarter extension trim. Small crack in windshield. Missing the original radio and ash tray insert. All badges and other trim present. 63D/42 GT fastback body. Original door with data tag.

A great deal in my opinion; priced to sell at $3,500.00 cash. Clear Oregon title. Call Tim at 360-936-9257 or email me at trose693@cs.com for pictures if you're serious. I need to sell this quick, hence the reasonable price. Car is in Vancouver, Washington (across the river from Portland, Oregon.
