Thumbs down 1997 overdrive "OFF" indicator light failure
Fuse # 20, a 5 amp fuse keeps blowing. The Overdrive Indicator "OFF" light will not come on when I push the button, and my trans will not shift into overdrive. Would appreciate any comments!!! JB

Mine did this as well........found the wires that come out of the shifter had worn thru causing a short. I replaced that and all worked fine. You will be able to see it where the wires exit the shifter under the rubber boot that covers it on the upper column cover.

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. WHEN I PUSH THE OD BUTTON NOTHING HAPPENS. THE TRANSMISSION WORKS AND SHIFTS JUST FINE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER THOUGHTS ON THIS.
