Ford Comet From 1960 through 1967 Mercury, a division of the Ford Motor Company, produced the Comet. The Comet was initially built atop a Ford Falcon frame that was stretched and became Mercury's intermediate/compact entry vehicle. With a 114 inch wheelbase many thought it would be considered an intermediate, but Mercury classified it as a compact.

Default front brake drum swap

hi, everyone my questsion is . I have a 64 cyclone , I would like to find out if the drums from a 1975 maverick (5 lug ) or from a 1965 ranchero ( 4 lug car ) will bolt on the front axels. I can get the ones from maverick or ranchero free . If they fit i will be able to move the cyclone around to work on it. I will be putting disc. brakes on when i get farther along with the car. Thank You everyone. John

You may want to check the Lincoln Versailles rear 9" disc swap also http://www.geocities.com/cping3/lincolnversailles.html
I'm not sure if the front disc will work but it would be good to check.
