Ford Comet From 1960 through 1967 Mercury, a division of the Ford Motor Company, produced the Comet. The Comet was initially built atop a Ford Falcon frame that was stretched and became Mercury's intermediate/compact entry vehicle. With a 114 inch wheelbase many thought it would be considered an intermediate, but Mercury classified it as a compact.

stick Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 1	'65 caliente automatic I'm currently redoing a '65 comet. I'm changing the original intake and carb to an Edlebrock set up. The problem is the car has a C4 automatic with the bellcrank rod running to the throttle linkage. The original throttle lever doesnt bolt in a workable location. Anyone else run into this and any ideas how to get around it?
