Ford Contour Ford Contour combines sporty driving dynamics with the comfort and practicality of a four-door sedan. It doesn't have the rear-seat space of a Taurus, but Ford improved rear legroom and revised the styling. Contour SVT pours on the coal with a higher output version of the Duratec V6, a sports suspension and bigger brakes.

Unhappy Contour stalling

Just bought '98 Contour last week. Twice in three days had it stall as I slowed down to make a right hand turn. I noticed a reference to IAC valve -- where is it located. Any help appreciated

Sorry, you'll have to copy/paste as I can't get the URL to work as a link. Once there, scroll down and you will see.

What engine (4 or 6 cyl) and how many miles? Knowing this can assist with your issue.
