Ford Contour Ford Contour combines sporty driving dynamics with the comfort and practicality of a four-door sedan. It doesn't have the rear-seat space of a Taurus, but Ford improved rear legroom and revised the styling. Contour SVT pours on the coal with a higher output version of the Duratec V6, a sports suspension and bigger brakes.

Default How to take doors panels and window hand crank off.

As many of you might have experienced the hand crank for the windows breaks off and you bust your knuckles to try to roll up your window. I recently figured out the hard way how to take off the door panels on the inside of the car. There are about 8 or 10 screws surrounding the door trim and in various places around the door. (a few might be hidden behind little plastic pieces that can be pried off.) The window crank itself is the tricky part. To take the window crank off and to remove the door panel I have found that a coat hanger works best. Jam it in between the plastic piece the little plastic ring on the actual crank. Find the cotter pin and pull up on it with some force then the assembly will just come apart. If anyone has replaced the window hand crank let me know. I am looking for some replacements.
