Ford Contour Ford Contour combines sporty driving dynamics with the comfort and practicality of a four-door sedan. It doesn't have the rear-seat space of a Taurus, but Ford improved rear legroom and revised the styling. Contour SVT pours on the coal with a higher output version of the Duratec V6, a sports suspension and bigger brakes.

Cool 1999 Contour Auto Trans in gear all the time
My 99 contour seems like it is in gear all the time even when it's in Park or Netural or in any other gear, It just wants to move forward and won't go over 20 mph with great difficulty. It's not slipping. Even in park when I push on the gas It's like having your foot on the brake and in gear while trying to rev up the engine. No matter what gear It's in. When It's in Park it won't move forward, but the engine won't rev up. Any HELP would be Appreciated, Thank You...

Have the codes checked anyway, just cause the light isnt on does not mean codes were thrown. I can check my Explorer right now, no light on but I know there is 2 codes on it.
