I am having this humming noise on the front end. I just replaced the wheel bearing and ball joint on the passenger side. This all happen when the car is running and not on a stop. When you turn the steering wheel slightly it will go away and then back again as soon as you straighten the steering wheel. The passenger side is ok. I dont see any movement or slack as well as the driver's side tranaxle. The Cv joint have a slight slack when you rotate it. The boots are all ok. If the steering is off to the left the noise disappears.
