 96 contour stalling
Ok here it goes.
I have a 1996 contour GL, 2.0L (not bifuel) 4 dr. My problem is that when I start it up it seems to idle a little low. Sitting in park if i turn on the a/c it will stall. It will start back up again. And it also stalls when i put it in reverse or drive ( with a/c off). CEL doesn't come on while it is running at all. And yes it does work due to the fact of me unplugging the Maf or if i unplug the TPS. Now I've been told a few things that could be wrong but I would rather not go and start replacing parts till I know for sure what is the cause. I have taken it to see if any codes come up and none do. Have even had it tested at a ford dealer ship and they couldn't give me any answers as well. I have replaced the water pump, heater core hose, radiator hose. Timing is not off have checked it numerous times just to be sure. As I said it is got me stumped with the CEL not coming on. Have been told it's not the O2 sensors. Have been told that it might be the TPS or the IAC or the IAT. I know where the TPS and the IAT is but cannot find the IAC have looked in the places where they say it should be but I must be blind for I can not find it. Is there any way to test these parts without going out and buying them seeing as once it is installed the parts store will not return my money if that is not what is the cause.
