Zetec Timing Belt Issue

Hey Everyone .... WHO LIKES A CHALLENGE?

1998 Contour - 2.0L DOHC

Replaced ALL pulleys & timing belt
Replaced PCV valve
Replaced Power Pak

Car starts fine ... idles fine .... put in drive and as it accelerates up to city driving speed it begins hesitating/sputtering

Hooked up Snap-On Scanner to computer .... NO CODES!

Mechanic called other mechanics in area, ford dealership garage ... NO ONE has ever had this problem .... nice

Anxiously awaiting a answer to my dilemma

After reading other threads about similar issues, and passing them onto my mechanic I had asked him to add SEAFOAM and then put in NEW plugs



PROBLEM SOLVED

My mechanic had said that the plugs looked clean when he initially pulled them
[ i too looked at them ... but ... I just looked at gap]

Problem was with one spark plug ... it was cracked ... which had given me the hesitation and sputtering & no codes
