possible atx issue 95 2.5 v6

1st and second gear are fine but when im at low rpm in 3rd or overdrive car seems to skip or catch as if its trying to accel but having trouble finding gears. when under harder accel both 3rd and OD seem fine.. any ideas???

Automatic right? Not the best tranny in the world in these cars. Take it to a service center, have them drive it and show them the problem, they're the experts, they should be able to recognize symptoms of tranny problems better than most of us. These trannies are pretty much crap. Not intended for agressive driving over time.
