Ford Contour Ford Contour combines sporty driving dynamics with the comfort and practicality of a four-door sedan. It doesn't have the rear-seat space of a Taurus, but Ford improved rear legroom and revised the styling. Contour SVT pours on the coal with a higher output version of the Duratec V6, a sports suspension and bigger brakes.

Default foggy lens

I had that happen on an 87 T-Bird. Couldn't get it fixed, but when I replaced it, the value of the T-Bird went up a lot because it looked 100% better than the old yellowed lens. If you really like the car, it might be worth replacing them with new ones.

If you mean the lens is yellow, I have tried every chemical and none work. But I have tried 1000 grit wet/dry sand paper then buff it this is the only way i found that works.
If there is water droplets inside you can remove the lense, seal the outside where the glass makes contact with the plastic (silocone) do not seal the vent. You may have too drill a small hole into the lense to get it dry. Drill the hole into the bottom corner then seal it with clear silicone

Default seal headlamp assy

my 99 contour kept building up condensation inside one headlamp - you could dry it out with a hairdryer but some weeks later it would be fogged up again. I think the adhesive was not sealing between the clear plastic and the black plastic. after cleaning and drying, I sealed as well as I could with silicone rubber - especially along the top seam, where rainwater drips down from the hood. So for six months or so - no condensation. good luck to you!

Smile foggy headlights

I had the same problem. Headlights were yellow and you could barely see at night. I just stopped at AUTOZONE and paid $12.00 for a kit with a fitting for an electric drill, and a set of pads that go on the end. Took me ten minutes to buff both headlights and the difference is AMAZING. Both lenses and now CLEAR instead of that ugly yellow and the lights are GREAT.

Smile Foggy Headlights no more

I thought about using the Autozone kit until I stumbled across a consumer version of a professional kit at Walmart. Ran about $20. You supply a little water for the sanding, a few paper towel and some elbow grease. The lights look great!
