Ford ContourFord Contour combines sporty driving dynamics with the comfort and practicality of a four-door sedan. First, are you sure it is switch. I thought mine was on 98 contour but was wire going into fuse box. Much research shows ford contour had many problems with wiring to fuse boxes and many recalls. I was sure it was switch also till it started working for a couple days. Just thought this might save you a lot of work if same as mine .
