HI I just bought a 1995 ford contour GL in very good shape. I have had the darn car for three days lol and now i have a problem
the transmission is slipping. It slips from drive to 2 only and if i would drive it in 2 for example it is ok. The trans fluid is full. I am gonna try to change the filter on it and replenish and change the fluid in it but was wondering if itcould be some kind of sensor maybe doing that? I am kinda upset cause other then that the car is excellent just hoping don't need to get another tranny....can anyone give me some suggestions to try as i live in a small town with one transmission shop but was told not to go there and the nearest one is 30 mins away.
