Ford ContourFord Contour combines sporty driving dynamics with the comfort and practicality of a four-door sedan. It doesn't have the rear-seat space of a Taurus, but Ford improved rear legroom and revised the styling. Contour SVT pours on the coal with a higher output version of the Duratec V6, a sports suspension and bigger brakes.
I noticed as I drove around for awhile, all of the sudden I felt a little bit of air come out, not much though, just slightly. So what does this mean..
I meant to say was, what is the problem, the air doesn't come out all the time.... it just started to my surprise, last night, for the first time, came out just a little bit and the heat is on high....
is something dirty?? clogged up?? bad or lose wire connection??
My car did that along time ago. I took it to the dealership and they said it was a recal on the switch that controled the fan. I also smelled wires burning right before it did that though.
what do you mean, the fan???.. if so, the coolant fan is working.. there is no air coming out of the vents
Your switches might be broken. Mine broke in the defroster position, so when I switch it to Max AC or any other position it just stays on defrost. Also there is no such thing as high or low, just mid high and mid low work. I'm no mechanic but it might be worth looking into.
was wondering if you could give me some guidance? I have a 95 contour se with a CD4E that is jumping in and out of O/D. I've done resistance checks on the TSS and had 860 ohms and on the VSS which was 1.464K ohms. I don't think that is good but the speedometer seems to be ok. I checked it with a GPS. So I have a code locked in that I haven't been able to check yet but, I am hoping that maybe I can get away with changing the MLPS. What do ya think?
Thanks in advance.
