I have to replace the timing belt on my 99 Contour. I have done some minor work on the car but nothing to this extent yet. How difficult is it for a novice to do the work and do I need any special tools beyond the obvious sockets and such. I am aware that I probably should change the water pump and idler pully as well but is there anything else I should look at doing at the same time. Thanks for your help!
