Have sent them again. Do you have enough room in your hotmail to receive them?

4 emails, 5 pictures each in the first 2, 2 pictures in the 3rd and a PDF of 3 old pictures in the last one.

Are you able to use the PDF ones? I don't have a scanner so I was at the mercy of work. I think the 2 old engine shots were by far the best.

Default my v-8 swap and pics.

Hello all, I'm new to posting on forums so forgive me. I completed my V-8 swap last year, and still have a ways to go to complete my "monstercourier". The biggest challenge for me was the hedders which are no longer made by hooker, water pump to radiator clearances, and couldn't find anyone talking about the swap online until now (go figure)
Summit still sells the Tranny bracket which was sold by Hooker for the V-8 swap. This bracket positioned the motor front to back, then the stock mounts were cut down to weld in 3/8 black pipe for the motor mount bolts after we figured out the side to side positioning of the motor. Iv'e got pictures that I have to scan if you want to see how we did the motor mounts. I stole the idea off my buddies truck that had the original Hooker V-8 swap kit/mounts.

I'm glad to see theres still interest in the couriers! A buddy of mine built and still drives his '74 courier that he swapped a hi-po 289 back in 1980 and uses a stock Courier rearend from the late 70's. The '72 sized rearends can't hang. I have plenty of tips and even a 75 courier that I'm looking to get rid of that already has the swap done to it, just a crappy body (California). Oh yeah and minus the 9", disc brakes, gauges, and seats (which was donated to my '72) Here is a link to some pics of mine hope it works. Theres also one of the '75 that the guy used and modified exhaust manifolds to make the exhaust work. The exhaust must exit out of the fender well outside of the frame rail due to clearance.

Video in progress of how line locks and new tires don't mix very well other than to dig a hole in the pavement and make a pile of smoldering rubber!
You just can't beat the looks that you get when you SMOKE a fast car and they have that very confused look like "what the *#&%"?????
