$50 from Ford!!

hey everybody,

2 weeks ago i went to the dallas autoshow. ford had quite the impressive display/exhibition at the very entrance of the convention center (they even had a robot entertaning kids). after seeing everything else, ford was then giving away "Ford Fusion" t-shirts" (i got 3 of them, thanks to my little bro!).

so, ford was then announcing that anyone who "test drives" a new ford will get a $50 mastercard. i gave them my contact info, and yesterday i got the email with the form to fill out and get the dealer code and saleman signature, and they'll send you the mastercard.

so basically go to your next auto show (if you havent' done so already) and check out the ford display.

Did that at the fair last year, had the same stuff there. Didn't hear anything about an autoshow within the last couple of weeks. I work at a Ford dealer about 45 miles out of Dallas.

i guess i got lucky. i had them send it to my work email, just in case it was a bunch of spam, but no its the actual form to fill out. so i'm thinking ot test drivng a mustang convertible or try out the new F150. i'll post my follow up report on what i thought about the 2010 model(s).

ok i have until tuesday to test drive. i'm calling in sick to work on tuesday, and going to do a quick "test drive" to get the $50 bucks.

now...

what should i "test drive"?

i think its either the mustang or maybe the new f-150. any thoughts on what i should test drive?

Drive the GT if they have one, and if they'll let you.

didn't get a chance. it was "participating dealers only". apparently 5 star ford in dallas wasn't one of them. and the other i didnt' even bother.

oh well. we'll see what other goodies Ford will dish out in the future!
