Default 99 Crown Vic transmission question
I'm changing the transmission fluid/filter in my 99 crown vic PI. After dropping the pan, I pulled out the filter. When I did that a plastic plunger type thing (almost looks like a lollipop) dropped out from someplace. Does anyone have access to a diagram, or knows off hand, where the plunder type thing belongs.

It is a dipstick plug for the assembly line.When they put in the dipstick tube it pushes the plu into the pan.Throw it away its not neede anymore.
